I learned that one of my co-workers got fired today

It kind of sucks, because she’s actually one of the few people I got along with at my job. I wasn’t at work when it happened, but I got some messages from my other coworkers there too. It was apparently THE topic of the store today and considering she got canned during midday, I know a good percentage of our staff had seen. I know she’ll be fine though…she’s been planning to leave, I guess she was waiting for the right time, although there is never a right time to get fired.
